Cagin' style

Caged booties &  sandals are all the rage this season. They dominated the spring 09 runways via Yves Saint Laurent (with their ever so popular caged heel) , Fendi, Yves St Laurent.. etc.

They come in all sorts of variations & configurations of straps; cut outs; & style.. So will you be getting your bondage chic on!?

When trends collide.. new buzz words are born..

Just more proof for you that leggings & skinny jeans are here to stay...

The "Jegging" - a combination between leggings and jeans. 

The fabric is made out of either spandex or polyester giving the effect of a legging, but the texture & resemblance of denim

"Treggings" - leggings designed to be worn like trousers, basically an ultra skinny jean. 

The benefit - that they can be worn without some kind of long garment covering the crotch, making it even easier to show off some legs.  

Worn by celebrities like Rhianna (below), Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham...

I love consignment shopping!

For those of you unfamiliar with consignment shopping or are particularly weary of it. I must say, I've personally been shopping & selling at consignment shops for years now and think it's a great way of saving money and/or making money from your own closet. 

Why let unused clothing/accessories in perfectly good condition just take up space in your closet, when you could be swapping them out for some new, or at least different stuff!?

Most stores will give you about 30% of the selling price for the item, and either give you cash back or store credit depending upon what they take. So hey, it could either put a little a money in your pocket.. or at least a new(different) shirt on your back. 

cUt iT oUt

This season's shoulder baring trend is... a lil 80's throwback.. mixed w/ a lil flirtiness. THE CUT OUT SHOULDER LOOK.

This is definitely one way to show a little skin without baring it all in this warm weather!

The look has been seen on the likes of celebrities & fashionistas.. and is even continuing through to next season, as seen on the Fall 2009 runways..

"Feel good shoes"?

It's no surprise that a great pair of shoes can boost self confidence! So, the question is... do you have a pair of "feel good" shoes?

Well apparently I have some happy customers out there! A very nice woman called up my company this week and advised our marketing dept that my shoes just make her feel beautiful & so good! [this style in particular :) ] Yay!

A trip coming up!

Well folks, guess who's going back to China again!? ;) Well, yours truly of course, starting mid June until beginning of July... I hope I'll be able to post while I'm there! :)
