Guess who's jumped on the train as H&M's next designer collaboration?!.....

...............that's right! Jimmy Choo

The collection will be available from November 14 in around 200 stores across the world. It is the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate Jimmy Choo will extend its design vision for this collection to women’s clothing to complement the accessories. Further exciting news is that this collaboration includes a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.

Over 700 stores across all five boroughs have signed up - designers, celebrities, models, etc will be making special appearances in an effort to lure shoppers back into the shops, in hopes to jumpstart the local economy & benefit charities like the NYC AIDS Fund/National September 11 Memorial and Museum.

I can understand the unisex look in blazers & oxfords, but skinny jeans?! I think they've gone too far.

Comme des Garçons for Converse

this one is for the lovely Laurie :)

After a succesful launch in Japan, these playful kicks are headed over to the US, Paris, London, Hong Kong & Seoul in Comme des Garçons stores, & for later distribution in October in the Converse & Comme des Garçons stores in US, Canada & China.

Apparently this collaboration isn't the only thing Converse has up it's sleeve. They also have plans for collaborations with Missoni and (N)umber (N)ine later this fall.

Deja Vu?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The 80's are back, and not going away any time soon! As seen on most of the Fall 2009 runways...

acid wash denim, studs, leggings, big shoulder jackets, animal prints, sequins, sequins, and oh - did I mention sequins?!, shiny tights, fishnets, fingerless gloves........... Even the hair & make up are coming back.. oy vey.

Today I was wear testing a pair of my new Spring '10 samples. Since it's Market week, I want to be sure to show off our new styles to the customers :) and paired it with my new multi chain cascading necklace.

Ed Hardy booth. I don't usually like Ed Hardy but I thought this was such a cool & innovative booth! with all of their shoes posted to the outside walls

DV by Dolce Vita had a fun booth with mannequins all bandaged up. Plus I got a free pair of sandals from them! woohoo

WSA Las Vegas booth 7/31 - 8/2

Hi Guys! Check out some pics from my company's booth at the WSA Las Vegas show.I helped set up & merchandise all of the ladies foowear product. At the front entrance I created a fun & colorful display of our cool new Spring 2010 rainboot development to help lure the customers in ;). As well as featured the hottest sandals & shoes I designed for Spring 10, which by the way has gotten some great feedback!
